I decided to do some serious readings. So I took this book with the title: "The History of the Modern World", but I was looking for the one mentioned in my friend's blog. Too bad that one is kept as an archive in some NTU departments, and I just couldn't be bothered to go all the way there, and perhaps be denied possible access to that book. *grinz.. So I would just stick to this other book. It's the facts that I am after anyway.

Another book that complements with this history book, is my favourite classical writer Dickens' Hard Times. This is because the book starts with "Facts. Give them nothing but facts." *chuckles.. I think I could die, if my teachers were to feed me with just facts when I was young. I'm not too sure what this book is about, and I am anticipating for the plot to develop. Such is the beauty of Dickens' works.
